Northern Islands

Darwin

Darwin Island is one of those places where you could see anything. All the aquatic life you would feel lucky to encounter anywhere else is here in abundance.

 

Wolf

Wolf Island is one of the most isolated of the Galapagos Islands. These tiny islands are home of unique birdlife and land visits are not allowed.

 

Western Islands

Cape Douglas

Cabo (Cape) Douglas dive site is located on the North West side of Fernandina Island. One of the central Galapagos islands, Fernandina has an active shield volcano 'La Cumbre'

   

Cape Marshall

Cape Marshall is located on the Northeast side of Isabela Island. Depth can be over 40 meters and visibility varies from 6 – 21 meters (20 – 70 feet) depending on the season. (130+ feet)

 

Punta Vicente Roca

Located at the Northwestern side of Isabela Island, Punta Vicente Roca is a wall dive to a maximum depth of 27 meters (90 feet). Visibility can be challenging in the shallows.

 

Central Islands

Albany Rock

Albany Rock on the Northwest end of Santiago Island is a small crescent shaped island. On both the west and east sides the points gradually slope down to a 150' sandy bottom.

 

Bartolomé

Located two hours north of Santa Cruz by boat, Bartolome Island is home of some of the most breathtaking panoramas in the Galapagos.

 

Chinese Hat

Chinese Hat is a little island looking just like a Chinese hat. Chinese hat is a tiny Island just off the south eastern tip of Santiago Island Islawith less than a quarter of 1 km2.

 

Cousin's Rock

Cousin Rock is one of the famous Galapagos dive sites. Located Northeast of the coast of Santiago Island and North of Bartolome, it has diverse wildlife.

 

Gordon's Rock

Located in the north east side of Santa Cruz (northeast from Plazas), Gordon Rocks is probably one of the most popular dive sites in the Galapagos Islands.

 

Mosquera

Located between North Seymour and Baltra is the small island of Mosquera. The island consists is a long narrow stretch of white sand, rocks, and tide pools.

 

North Seymour

North Seymour Island is a natural haven for some of the most sought after residents in the Galapagos Islands, nesting Frigate birds and Blue-Footed Boobies.

 

Punta Carrión

Carrion Point provides opportunities to see various sea birds nesting on the rock cliffs. In addition, Carrion Point creates a sheltered lagoon with beautiful, turquoise water.

 

Southern & Eastern Islands

Punta Pitt

Punta Pitt, located at the extreme eastern end of San Cristóbal Island, is reached by a 1400 meter (4953 feet) trail, with a duration of about two hours.
